Preparing for drafts

Seems like Leddy should probably be there over Boychuk.

Leddy had 40pts to JB's 25.

Markov was 20th for points last year for D's....he has him in 41st position this season. Weber scores most of his points on the PP, Markov will be is set up man.

Lucas....I disagree with you

Yes, but there's also shots, hits, +/- etc to consider in fantasy hockey... being the 20th point scorer doesn't necessarily make you the 20th best for fantasy hockey...

One guy who I believe should be on this list (though not very high) is Olli Maata.

If he can stay healthy (granted that'd a big IF) he could post very interesting numbers.

I also think Trouba, if he does end up switching sides to play with big buff on the first pairing, will have a breakout season this year.

Oh and Hanifin will be higher as well, this kid will dominate sooner than later.

But these are all young guys so they could also poop the bed pretty hard.

Shouldn't Jake Gardiner be first? He's like the best defenceman in the league.

Leddy was in the mix there, just feel like Boychuk is going to have a better season than last year.

Markov is a year older and slower, plus from what I've read, Markov won't be on the first powerplay, the Habs will be adding Radulov up front and tossing Galchenyuk on the point with Weber...so I think him being in the mix where he is was generous

Hanifin

....has put on about 10 pounds this offseason working with Rob Gronkowski. Says he's 6'3, about 215 now.

maatta could surprise, good call.

he just needs to play 82 games and quit moving around on the depth chart because of it.

think derrick pouliot will finally be an impactful prospect for the pens?

How can you list defensemen and start the list with Karlsson.

He is not a defenseman. He is the 4th forward when he is out there. I don't care how good he is, or how many points he has, he isn't playing defense.

Maybe you need to reevaluate what constitutes defense in your mind.
